Our story

It started with Seven.

A companion who walked through the brightest moments, the hard ones, and all the ordinary Tuesdays in between. The first hunē. was made because we missed him.

The love that stayed
“His love was unconditional—steady, and impossible to replace.”
Seven in a faithful adult portrait

Seven was not simply a dog in our home. He was part of my life through seasons of joy and seasons I was not sure I would make it through. In some of the brightest moments, and in some of the darkest places, his love stayed the same—unconditional, steady, and impossible to replace.

When Seven passed, my kids felt that loss deeply. I wanted to give them something more than a photograph on a wall or a keepsake tucked away. I created a piece they could wear close to their hearts—something they could reach for when missing him felt especially sharp.

What stayed with us

Three years later, they still wear their shirts. They still run their hands over the design, the small ritual that helps Seven feel close. Watching them taught me that remembrance does not have to live on a shelf. It can live in the everyday moments when you need to feel them near.

That was when I knew other families deserved this feeling too. It is our honor to introduce hunē. to the world: a way to hold a companion’s story close with the dignity, tenderness, and attention their life deserves.

Our standard

Reverence cannot be rushed.

The Founding 25 is a commitment to begin slowly, listen carefully, and make every family feel the care behind the piece they carry home.

01

One family at a time

Grief does not move on a production line. Each family deserves room for questions, reflection, and a response that feels personal.

02

One companion’s story at the center

Every choice—from artwork to the final presentation—begins with the life only your family knew.

03

One process held to a high standard

The care you feel in the finished piece begins with the care we put into every unseen step.
