Our beginning
It started with Seven.
For 15 years, he was there. Through life changing, children being born, hard seasons, and ordinary Tuesdays. And then one day, he wasn't.
We were left with thousands of photographs. And his ashes.
We could keep the urn somewhere safe. We could buy another memorial keepsake. But none of it felt like him.
Then we tried something different. A small portion of Seven's ashes was carefully incorporated into the material used to create his image on a shirt.

Before we ask you to send anything, we want to know who we're honoring: their name, story, favorite photograph, and the little thing nobody outside your family would understand.

We create their artwork.
Your photograph and story become the foundation for their custom design. You approve the final artwork before their ashes enter the preservation process.

Their Safe Passage begins.
Only after approval will we guide you through the next step. You receive clear instructions for providing the small amount required, backed by our documented custody process.

Their hunē. is created.
A small portion is carefully incorporated into the material used to create their memorial artwork. Their design is produced on your selected premium garment and inspected.

They come home.
Your preservation is intentionally presented with its Certificate of Preservation, care guidance, and the secure return of any unused ashes.

With your explicit written permission only, you may authorize a small additional portion to be preserved within a miniature version of your companion's hunē. tee and permanently honored in the Founding 25 Memorial.

We know what you're thinking.
“I'm scared to send their ashes anywhere.”
You should be careful. They're irreplaceable. That's why hunē. doesn't begin by asking you to put ashes in the mail. First, tell us about them. Then we create their artwork. You approve it. Only then do we move forward. We don't believe trust should be rushed.
“How do I know they're actually my companion's ashes?”
Every preservation is connected to its individual order and follows hunē.'s documented custody process from receipt through production, reconciliation, and return. Our responsibility is to create a process that gives you a reason to trust us.
“How much of their ashes do you need?”
Only a small amount is required. Before anything is sent, you will receive clear instructions explaining what is needed. We do not want families sending more than necessary.
“What happens to the ashes you don't use?”
Anything unused is carefully accounted for and returned home with the completed hunē. The Founding 25 Memorial option is completely optional and requires explicit authorization.
“Can I wash it?”
The hunē. Original is being created as something you can wear. Every finished piece includes care instructions established for the final approved production process.
“Why does this cost $597 or $697?”
Because you're not buying a custom T-shirt. Every hunē. includes custom artwork, individual handling, preservation, custody documentation, personal communication, premium materials, quality inspection, and intentional presentation. There are cheaper ways to put a photograph on clothing. hunē. isn't trying to be one of them.
